It has been a lovely October so far and since the weather was better than expected I decided to wear this new dress out tonight. I have had my eye on it for probably close to a year and finally pulled the trigger after seeing Monroe Steele rocking it and also seeing all the beautiful new color ways available. It is such a lovely weight knit and much better quality than I had anticipated. I am very happy to have gotten it and I know I will wear it often!

Okay I didn’t wear this to work but I did wear this out to dinner and a show. It was incredibly hot today but it’s always so cold inside the movies because of air conditioning so I wanted something light but long sleeved. I don’t wear this shirt a lot because my parents picked it up in Spain so it’s special but I think now that means I should probably wear it even more! I loved the cropped length with the higher waisted jeans. It was perfect for tonight!
