Back at it with a mirror pic lewk. I wore this blazer over the weekend over a little black dress and I just love it so much I thought I would pull it back out for a bit of pop on an otherwise pretty plain outfit. Houndstooth is probably one of my favorite prints and I just love the way blazer fits. Great and easy, would definitely also wear with jeans!

I liked the way the shoes pulled this look together. I’m clearly very into these joggers (in all three colors) and like the way the can be dressed up or down. The only thing I’m not loving is this blazer. Which is sad because it’s gorgeous and a great shape and I’m trying to wear blazers more in general. But it’s just not my color. Or maybe I should have worn a brighter pop shirt? Something isn’t working on the top.

So I don’t have that much green but I do have enough to get me through the three days I’ll go in to the office this week so I decided to go for a little academic chic. I really like this outfit! This blazer was a great Goodwill find and I think it works well with the rest of the color palette. Since it’s mostly pretty classic plain on top I decided the shoes were a fun pop.

Contrary to the way this photo looks, my legs are more than two feet long. I need to come up with a better system of photographing myself. Anyways, it’s getting a little cooler but I had just hand washed most of my sweaters and they were still drying so I thought the blazer would be a good layering piece. It has absolutely no structure which I don’t love but the material is really nice.

I wanted to wear some blue and white stripes for inauguration today. My best friend gave me this shirt forever ago after she shrunk it in the wash and it became too small for her. The stripes are bleeding a bit bit it’s a nice, thick material and always reminds me of her when I wear it.
